Your privacy is our primary concern. This Privacy Policy outlines how Kyro ("we", "our", or "us") handles your data. Our philosophy is simple: we believe your financial data belongs solely to you. Therefore, Kyro is built from the ground up to be 100% on-device.
We do not require you to create an account, nor do we ask for your email address, phone number, or bank login credentials. We do not have servers that store your subscription data, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
All subscription tracking data, including service names, pricing, and billing dates, is stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud, your data is synced securely across your devices using Apple's CloudKit. For shared household pools, we use CloudKit Sharing, which remains entirely within Apple's ecosystem and is inaccessible to us.
Our smart discovery feature utilizes Apple's native Vision framework to scan screenshots and identify subscriptions. This Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process happens entirely locally on your device. Your screenshots are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party APIs.
